This is my oh-so humble contribution to the blogosphere. My wife and I moved from West Texas to Waitakere New Zealand, because we were becoming content with the routine of life and that scared the Hell out of us. This blog updates friends and family at home. I also write what occurs to me when I feel like it. If it appears that the blog has Multiple Personality Disorder, it does. My wife and I both contribute.

19-Week Sonogram

We just returned from our 19-week sonogram. What a growth spurt Baby Pickle (maybe "Gherkin" for a name?) has had in the last 7 weeks!

We both agree that we got the best Valentine's present ever this afternoon--the sonogram was SO AMAZING!!! We saw his (or her!) little eyes, nose, mouth (think he's going to get Brandon's and my mom's big lips!), and the tiniest feet ever, and his spine and his brain and his heart! The sonogram lady laughed because we told her we really didn't want to find out if we could help. Well little pickle stayed spread legged the entire time! She did absolutely amazing though because we never got a money shot--and, ok, we've been studying the tape for about 20 minutes => He of course has all the right pieces and parts in all the right places AND is just almost big enough to move my due date back where I thought it should be! The lady said he was big for 19 weeks, but not quite outside the range of normal yet. So she left the due date alone. So I'm hoping I'll get a small baby earlier than July 10. She also commented on him being a runner, she kept having to chase him down. I have been saying he is just as wild as a March hare in there!

We'll work on that this weekend. I think we might take some pics at the beach to send to Staci so she can make our babyshower invites.

Hello Logan Family! How are you all doing? I am blessed to catch up with you and see that things are going well. I am excited about your commercial! That is way funny. Take care of that wife. Plenty of foot rubs and chocolate ice cream always does the trick.
